Club Membership Fees

Rivernook Archery Club is situated at Imber Court Sports Ground - click on the right-hand link for a map and directions.

There is always someone at the club on a Sunday morning from around 9.30am for you to discuss your membership with. We shoot 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We're a friendly bunch so please pop down. We have 10 targets set out all year round on imperial and metric distances and have bacon butties and tea/coffee available on a Sunday; other times when the container shed is open there is just tea and coffee. When we have club shoots we often have hot soup and /or chilli.  If you’re lucky muffins, biscuits and cakes are made as well.

For safety reasons our Club policy is that new archers must complete a beginners' course prior to joining the club. Experienced archers, or archers that have just finished their course, may join straight away.  All new members are subject to the approval of the committee. This is usually a formality. We ask that you come and shoot with us prior to joining just so we can see how you are and to see if you like us, of course!

The club membership fees are due at the beginning of every April and the cost for this year 2013/2014 is as below.

      Full Member                  £  80.00
      Junior                             £  35.00 (Under 18)
Family Member             £ 160.00 (Two adults plus £10 for each child under 18)

If you want to stay and shoot at the club you will be covered by our insurance, however, should you wish to shoot in external competitions you will need to join GNAS The fees are due by the 1st September and are as follows:

      GNAS Fees        £  49.00

NB: Children and young persons are welcome but they MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian and be SUPERVISED at all times, this to comply with child protection law. Supervision means active participation from a close distance and the degree required is obviously dependant on age of the young person. (It is possible that those shooting down at the club may occasionally be caught on a photograph. This is purely for club purposes and may be posted onto the Internet to help promote the club. If this is not acceptable please indicate this to the coach or a committee member. It is not a regular occurrence and names will never be included. It may save any embarrassment at a later time.)

I hope all of this information is helpful. We look forward to meeting you at the field sometime.

With kind regards from,

Club Secretary
